Environmental Policy

The Key Personnel Group has a strong sense of social responsibility with over half of our employees voluntarily involved in some sort of community work

The Key Personnel Group is based over 5 sites across the East Midlands, and has over 40 employees.

At Key Personnel, our senior management initiates and gives full support to our environmental policy. As a responsible company we intend to grow and develop in a sustainable manner. However, we recognise that our operations have an impact on the environment and we are committed to reducing these.

We are committed to continually improve our environmental performance and we are developing an environmental management system (EMS) to achieve this in a structured way. The company will provide the human and financial resources required to implement this EMS. We are developing environmental performance indicators to help us to assess our current and future level of environmental performance. This will also enable us to benchmark our performance against similar companies and industry standards.

The EMS covers all the operations at our sites throughout the East Midlands.

It is our policy to:

  • Integrate environmental management into our day-to-day business operations to ensure environmental issues are addressed, whilst providing a quality product to all our customers.
  • Comply with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations and requirements.
  • Reduce our use of natural resources such as energy and water..
  • Reuse resources whenever possible rather than dispose of them.
  • Encourage the use of recycled materials and recycling initiatives.
  • Prevent pollution by reducing emissions and discharges
  • Provide appropriate environmental training for all our people and encourage them to support this programme.
  • Promote communication with internal and external interested parties and respond appropriately to reasonable requests for information about our environmental performance.
  • Ensure that all our people and the general public can access our policy.

When our environmental objectives have been determined as part of our EMS, they will be reflected in our final policy.

Recently Key Personnel Group Ltd has achieved the accreditation of BS8555 Stage 3. This accreditation was achieved through the EMDA and Loreus companies, and means that we at Key Personnel Group are now recognised as providing and efficient and productive Environment Management System, doing all we can as a business to help the environment.
