Key-Personnel Jobs And Recruitment

The Key guide to a successful temp

What is temping?

Temping or temporary work is based on a non-fixed term basis but can last for any length of time, from a single day's work to months in duration. The hours can vary depending on the contract so can be full or part time.

There are several reason why employers recruit temps:

Benefits

Temping for Key Personnel offers many benefits and is even a preferred career choice for many.

Some benefits of temping are:

Pay

Salary is paid on a weekly basis and is based on an hourly rate. We pay all our staff weekly on a Friday meaning you don't have to wait a month to get paid.

There is a high demand for temporary staff and sometimes temporary staff can earn more than salaried staff as your pay is based on an hourly rate so the more hours you work the more you get paid.

Under the Working Time Regulations, temporary workers are entitled to annual leave. There are also conditional entitlements to sick pay when you're a temp. We explain all about your entitlements prior to you commencing work.

Who is eligible to temp?

All temps in the UK must have the right to work here. British nationals and nationals from the European Economic Area have the right to work in the UK.
